CEIM Certification is an independent body for certification of construction products within Civil Engineering Institute MACEDONIA It is the first accredited
certification body for construction products pursuant to the requirements of MKC EN ISO/IEC 17065:2012, which obtained its accreditation in 2016. The same year,
pursuant to the Law for construction products (Off. Gazette 104/2015) it is appointed by the Ministry for Economy of Republic of North Macedonia as product certification
body and factory production control certification body.
The placement of cement on the market in North Macedonia is regulated with the Law for construction products. The producers or their representatives are solely responsible for the legal compliance of their products.
The system for assessment and check of the durability performance is 1+ meaning that a product certification body needs to be engaged. In the scope of its accreditation, CEIM Certification performs certification of cements covered with the following standard:

CEIM Certification is the only accredited body for certification of steel for the reinforcement of concrete. The system for assessment and check of the durability performance is 1+.
