The strategy for water management in the Skopje region analyzes all aspects related to surface and groundwater, especially the definition of available water resources and opportunities for use, current use, future needs, harmful impacts caused by water, Terms of Reference, and action plans for achieving the goals of sustainable water management.
The ultimate goal of the strategy development is determining the long-term directions and policies of water management in the Skopje region, i.e., the sustainable water management directions and use. Within the strategy, an action plan with clearly defined actions and measures creates to achieve the sustainable water management goals. The Client of the works is UNDP, and they executed works from February to August 2022.
