Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia supervises the construction works for the Konsko Dam, which is of exceptional importance for irrigating the agricultural lands in the Gevgelija Region. The dam construction will provide a regular supply of high-quality drinking water, irrigation of agricultural lands, and electricity production, and it also means that there will be water to rescue Dojran Lake.
CEIM performs supervision of the works for the construction of the dam with the concomitant facilities.
The technical solution for Konsko Dam consists of: stone-embankment dam with asphalt-concrete diaphragm, upstream part of the dam body, head overflow, bypass tunnel, catchment tower at the main outlet - supply body, safety closure on the ground.
The total construction height of the dam is about 78 meters with a total cubic capacity of about 1375000 m3 and the length of the crown about 330 meters.
