In the past period, Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia has signed three contracts with the company Bechtel & Enka for the construction design of four highway sections along Corridors VIII and X-d, with a total length of 109 km. The contracts include geodetic works, geotechnical investigations, testing, and design.
The design aims to improve the road infrastructure in our country, and the sections in question are part of Pan-European Transport Corridors VIII (connection between the Adriatic and Black Seas) and X (connection between Austria and Greece).
In addition, the Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia performed geomechanical investigation works for the needs of Highway Corridor 8 and 10D, where the investor in the project is "Bechtel Enka UK 2 Limited".
