The Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy, Trajan Dimkovski, together with the Mayor of Valandovo, Pero Kostadinov, visited the location where the construction works for the construction of the new irrigation system in the southern valley of the river Vardar are underway.

The project for irrigation of the southern valley of the river Vardar, second phase, refers to the rehabilitation and modernization of the irrigation infrastructure of the irrigation system in Valandovo. Minister Dimkovski pointed out that the construction works are taking place in accordance with the planned dynamics in the contract with the contractor Strabag and the supervision of the Construction Institute "Macedonia" AD Skopje. The construction started in June, currently the construction of the secondary irrigation network (distribution pipelines) and the tertiary irrigation network (distribution pipelines) and the pumping station Josifovo are in full swing.
