Last week in the premises of IECE was held a presentation of research from the scientific research project entitled "Modern multi-disciplinary aspects in the research of alluvial depression on Vardar-Lepenec", realized by a team of young geologists from the Institute of Geotechnics. The coordinator of the research team was PhD Zlatko Ilijovski, and the presenters of the research were Igor Talevski, Marija Makeshovska and Ivica Andov.

The research that took place in the period from March to December this year was funded by CEIM and IEE. The project included a more disciplinary modern approach to research in the field of geological, hydrogeological, mathematical groundwater modeling, geophysical and eco-hydrogeological research. Complete research is processed and presented using GIS technology.
