“Traffic and Transport Engineering – From Theory to Practice” – Professional Lecture by CEIM on the Occasion of the 65th Anniversary of the Establishment of the Faculty of Technical Sciences – Bitola
As part of the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Faculty of Technical Sciences – Bitola, a professional presentation titled “Traffic and Transport Engineering – From Theory to Practice” was held on 19 May 2026 at the Faculty premises. The event is part of a series of activities marking this important jubilee and highlighting the Faculty’s contribution to education and scientific research in engineering and technology.
The presentation aimed to demonstrate the practical application of theoretical knowledge in developing sustainable traffic and transport systems.
The speakers, Aleksandra Angelkovska Ognenoska and Zoran Gruevski, employees of the Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia AD Skopje, are also alumni of the “St. Kliment Ohridski” University – Bitola and the Faculty of Technical Sciences – Bitola.
They shared their professional experience and project work in traffic engineering, emphasizing the importance of the profession, real-world engineering challenges, and the link between academic knowledge and practical application.
The session provided students with valuable insight into real practice and opportunities for professional development in the field of traffic and transport engineering.
