The CIVIL ENGINEERING INSTITUTE MACEDONIA (CEIM) participated in the Business Day at the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Skopje, held on 26.05.2026 in the faculty amphitheatre, under the title “From the Amphitheatre to Realisation: Professional Paths and Managerial Experiences.”

The event aimed to strengthen cooperation between the academic community and the construction industry through direct exchange of experiences, professional career paths, and practical guidance for the development of future engineers, with an emphasis on linking academic knowledge with the real needs of the industry.

Во рамки на програмата, д-р Златко Илијовски од ГИМ As part of the program, Dr. Zlatko Ilijovski from CEIM delivered a presentation, sharing his professional experience, career development path, and insights gained from the implementation of complex engineering projects. He also addressed contemporary challenges in geotechnical practice, as well as the role of engineers in managing and implementing highly complex projects.

CEIM, as a leading company in the construction sector, once again confirmed its active role and readiness to participate in initiatives of this kind, aimed at advancing the profession and exchanging knowledge between theory and practice.

CEIM’s participation contributed to an open discussion with students and professors, as well as to the exchange of practical advice related to the transition from academic education to professional engineering practice.
