The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Water Economy is leading the implementation of the Agricultural Modernization Project (AMP) financed by the World Bank, to improve competitiveness in the agricultural sector of the Republic of North Macedonia and strengthen public institutions within the country's accession to the European Union.
The aim of the Logistics - Distribution Platform in the Municipality of Gazi Baba - Skopje is to enable the organization and promotion of the supply of safe and fresh food products, and simplified access and logistics to the fresh food market and other services in the agricultural and food sector.
In this context, a joint partnership led by IRD Engineering – the Republic of Italy, AGT S.p.A. (former AGROTEC SpA) – the Republic of Italy, and Civil Engineering Institute Macedonia have an ongoing contract for providing consulting and engineering services for location selection, urban design, feasibility study, study of environmental and social aspects, preliminary and detailed design for a logistics - distribution platform in Skopje (Gazi Baba Municipality).
